Blood Pressure Check
If you are over 40 and not on any blood pressure medication you can have a free NHS blood pressure check. This is important to prevent heart disease and strokes. To qualify, the patient must not have previously been identified as having hypertension or a related condition. Book an appointment for your checkup.

Disposal of Unwanted Medicines
If you have out of date or unwanted medicines, both prescription or over the counter drugs, don’t bin them or flush them. You can take your unwanted or out of date medicines back to your pharmacy for safe disposal, and it’s completely FREE. We're very happy to help you.
Flu Vaccination Services
Book or manage a free or private NHS flu vaccination. If you're aged 65 years old or over before the end of next march, you can book a free flu vaccine. If you're aged 18 to 64 years old, you can book a free flu vaccine if you have certain medical conditions or are pregnant. Let's protect ourselves this winter.
New Medicine Service
When you are prescribed a new medicine by your doctor our pharmacists can offer support and advice to ensure you take the new medication as prescribed without suffering any unwanted side effects or explain any further questions you may have. We keep in contact with you for the first few weeks.
Smoking Cessation
We provide a face-to-face stop smoke service giving regular support for 12 weeks and advice to help you quit. This also includes the provision of Nicotine Replacement Therapy or Varenicline ( Champix ) dependant on suitability for up to 12 weeks. We also offer a cut-down programme over 6 weeks.

Supervised Methadone Dispensing
Our dedicated pharmacists are committed to maintaining the integrity of methadone supply by ensuring accurate and clinically appropriate dosing for patients. In certain situations, prescribers may also request that our team supervise the administration of methadone for added safety and support.
